(Optional Brass Quintet, Timpani, Percussion)

 Choral Score  (GMP9803) - $1.75
Conductor's Score/*Instrumental Parts  (GMP9803X) - $45.00

Unbridled joy only begins to describe the musical impact of this dynamic choral work.  The music is characterized by driving rhythms and a sense of perpetual motion. The anonymous text (from "Olde England") was discovered by the composer while reading an anthology of children's literature.  The brevity of the text is reflected in the compact, single-minded form of the music.  Challenging for pianist and singers alike, but worth the effort!

Winner of the 2004 Choral Composition Competition
sponsored by the California American Choral Directors Association
In appreciation to Don and Maxine Hubler

Premiere in England!

The Choir of Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire (an 11th century Medieval church in England) will perform two of Brad Nelson's pieces in their December 21 Christmas Concert this season. They will sing "Gladde Things" and "Good King Wenceslas".
