Unbridled joy only begins to describe the musical impact of this dynamic choral work. The music is characterized by driving rhythms and a sense of perpetual motion. The anonymous text (from "Olde England") was discovered by the composer while reading an anthology of children's literature. The brevity of the text is reflected in the compact, single-minded form of the music. Challenging for pianist and singers alike, but worth the effort!
