Clarke tries to remove the flame from Madi by saying "ascende superius" only to find out that Madi has changed the activation phrase. She recites the lineage, implying that Lexa's spirit has chosen her and she's now a rightful commander. After that, Madi starts seeing the Dark Commander whenever she looks in the mirror. As Clarke comforts her daughter and Octavia prepares to shoot her, Levitt discovers that Cadogan got the code from Madi's mind before abandoning her to die.
